FULL PERSONALITY. Kenshin is a bright and cheerful person. Who would sooner talk over a glass of Sake, than fight .Being that he is a passivist he will only draw his sword when necessary. Kenshin will how ever draw his sword to fight when he believes that there is no other alternative.
Because of his nature Kenshin tends to leave his friends wide open for attack because he believes that their is good in everyone. It is because of this that Kenshin has faught some of the toughtest battles of his life. How ever no matter how many battles he's fought, no matter how many times he's won. He goes home to his friends and acts like total cluts from smashing his head off a door to "accidentally" walking in on Karu in the bathroom. FULL HISTORY. Kenshin Himura, was originally called Shinta Himura, he was sold into slavery at a younge age after his parents died he doesn't remember much about them. The only family he knew were three women who treated him like a kid brother, they protected him, and fed him when the slave trader would get angry with him.While the caravan he was with was making its way through a forest, they were ambushed by bandites. During the slaughter, the three women gave their lives to protect the then 8 year old Shinta. Just before she died one of the women told him "You haven't lived a full life yet Shinta we have, you must live. Live to become a strong man." these were the last words that the woman ever spoke as she was ran through, by one of the bandits.
It was when the same bandit was about to cut down Shinta that he appeared. Sojiro Hiko the 13th, he slaughted all of the bandits as if he were a demon, his sword technique was unlike anything that Shinta had ever seen. When it was all said and done Sojiro left the body's and the boy. When he came back he had expected to find that the boy had commited suicide, but much to his surprise he found that graves had been dug and marked. He then saw the boy leaning over three rocks that he assumed were head stones, after that Sojiro re-named Shinta Kenshin, saying "Shinta? That's too soft a name for a swordsman. After that Kenshin would learn the ultimate sword technique, the Hiten Mitsurugi Style, however his training was incomplete. At the age of 15 he left Sojiro to help the revolutionists win their war, must to the displeasement of his master. During this time Kenshin Himura would become better known as "Battousi the Manslayer", it was thanks in large part to his sword that the Maiji government came into being.During the chaos of the revolution Kenshin recieved a slice accross his left cheek it was a horizontal slice from a foe, that he later put down without hesitation.
After this incident it was revealed to him that the battle he'd recieved his wound was ambush set for him, because someone leaked out information about him, after this Kenshin was forced into hiding with a beautiful woman. The two were to live out in the country posing as a married couple, during this time Kenshin began to fall in love with her, and soon took her as his real wife. However this happines would not last, as it had all be a trap set to destroy him, and severly weaken the Revolutionists,Kenshin would find out that his wife had been kidnapped. He fought like a mad man to get her back, becoming injured in the process, when he reached the man who had kidnapped her, he ran to kill him. Only to find that it was his wife the he killed in the end. It was her who would give him his vertical slash on his face. Creating his trademark cross shape scar that he would become most recongnized for having. After the death of his wife, Kenshin put down his sword and vowed to never kill again, he then went to the swordsmith whom had fordged many of his swords, and was given his first Reverse-Blade Sword. After receiving the parting gift from the swordsmith, Battousi the ManSlayer soon become nothing more then a legend.
12 years later Kenshin Himura would reveal himself once again to the world when he stopped two brother's from trying to force a woman by the name of Karu Kami Kashin. After easily defeating the two men, and their thugs Kenshin desided to stay with Karu, (OOC: Don't do it you idiot! It's a trap! That's what they all want you to think! Stop before it's too late!) while staying with Karu Kenshin would help her maintain the dojo that she lived, and trained it. He would also meet a little boy named Yahiko Miojin, and his best friend Sanosake "Sano" Sagara. Later on Kenshin would fight the Oniwaban Group, and save a woman doctor named Migumi, who loves to fight over Kenshin with Karu. Kenshin would then return to the place where it all began for him, Kyoto.
During his travel their Kenshin's Reverse Blade Sword was broken in half, during this time Kenshin would meet up with a little girl named Misou, and an old enemy turned allie named Sajimi Saito. Kenshin would continue to wander through the country with Misou. Until they arrived at Kyoto, Kenshin then got a new sword after meeting up with his friends to fight against Shishio, and his men the Jupon Gatina, before that would happen how ever Kenshin needed to track down his old master, to complete his training in the Hiten Mitsurugi Style. Reluctant at first Sojiro eventually trained Kenshin and taught him the final techniques of the Hiten Mitsurugi Style the Kuzu Ryuu san and the Anamagakru Ryuu no Hira meki. On their way to fight Shishio a portal appeared before the group and sucked them inside it. The found themselves in not only a different time, but a completely different world.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE. [/color][/font] Kenshin looked around in utter confusion, while his mind raced with curiousity, his first thoughts were of his friends, he clutched his sword in his hand. Ready to draw it at a moments notice, once the dust around them had settled, he smiled and left out a sigh of relief as he saw that his friends were alright. He then focused his attention on the area around him, something was wrong here, the place looked like someone had dug a giant round pit, but who would make such a thing? He then looked over and saw a boy, wearing rather strange clothes, but he wasn't one to judge people about their atire when all he wore was a patched up shirt and pants. He walked over to the boy, who was unconscious and gentally picked him up, off the ground and shouldered him. The boy was a good head and shoulders taller than he was which made it diifficult.
Kenshin may have been an extremly gifted swordsman, but he lacked both size and real physical strength, that was Sato's department. Sadly Sato was nowhere to be found. Knowing his sense of direction he probably got stuck inside what ever that bright flash of light was, that brought them to this strange place, he only hoped that his friends would be okay till he could come back for them. As he walked up the miles of destroyed land, he couldn't help, but wonder what could've caused all of this? It certainly wasn't gunpoweder that's for sure. It had to be something else, something much more powerful to carve out a large chunk of the landscape like it did? He hoped that when he reached the top he would get his answers.
