A slowly setting sun was the icing to the cake to the ending of such a beautiful summer day. The young kunouchi girl sat back against the trunk of the tree one leg dangling off the branch as she sat several feet above the ground. Her dark chocolate brown eyes missing nothing. Ever vigillant is what she was. Even with her team mates no where near and she was on a rescue mission on her own she was vigillant. There was no Lee to make alot of noise. No Neji to make no noise at all. There was only her. Tenten. A chunin of renoun skill who's skills with weapons where unwatched. She was deadly with any type of weapon you put in her hands. You didn't beat Tenten in a battle of weapons. It just wasn't possible. If it where a test of physical strength you may win. But probably not in one of stratagy either.
She was smart and cunning. Everything a ninja should be and more. She was a prime example of a female ninja at their best. A deep sigh passed Tenten's lips as she leaned her aching head back against the bark of the tree. She had had a terrible head ach since breakfast time and now it was almost dark. The usual twin buns which Tenten usually wore where down. Her hair hung down to her shoulders in gentle cascading waves. Brown so dark it could almost be considered black. Tenten attempted to keep her eyes open she knew she should stay up a bit longer before she fell into the light sleep that she always had while on a mission. She wouldn't sleep well until she was back in Konoha. Where she belonged.
Tenten raised her delicate hand to her head, placing the back of her cold fingers on her forehead. She shivered slightly as she had not realized how cold her hands where. Since for the last two nights she had not had a fire she didn't realize just how cold this night was comparred to the rest. A slight trembling sat into her curvatious body. What a strange night this was turning out to be. Tenten rarely recieved headache. Nor did she really feel could. Yet she was feeling both very well right now. Tenten rested her hand lightly on her giant scroll before her eyes slowly started to drift closed. She didn't even realize how tired she was until she felt her body slipping from the branch. Yet she could do nothing to stop the fall. She just couldn't seem to open her eyes.

Kenshin walk through the dense forest, he wanted to explore this new and unfamilar country that he and his friends had been transported into and decided to go and wander around for a bit. As he did so he took in the unfamiliar sights and sounds, his reverseblade sword hang by his hip gentily bumping it as he walked through the underbrush, and grass covered ground. His sandled made a crunching sound with each step he took, so many things were different from the world he knew, yet oddly enough it still felt like home to him. As if he were still in Japan in his own world, and not inside what ever kind of world this one was, as he walked through the forrest he saw a young girl, who didn't look much older than Yahiko, walking towards him, then she disappeared into the trees. He smiled to himself, and didn't really think much of it as the sun began to set, he could hear a cracking noise above him, as he passed under the tree that the girl had disappeared into.
Looking up he saw that the girl must've fallen asleep on one of the upper limbs of the tree as she came falling towards the ground like a rock, getting a bit of a running start, Kenshin jumped into the air, and caught the girl. He then landed on a smooth rock slipped and fell ontop of the girl, his face pressed between her younge soft firm breasts. He instantly got to his feet, and jumped away falling to his knees he starts bowing up and down.
"Sorry! Sorry! I didn't mean to do that miss!" he said with each bow.
He then looked at the girl, and saw that she appeared to still be fast asleep, he got up and walked over to her and put his hand to her forehead, then pulled it away. Her skin was hot to the touch almost like it were on fire, he got up and began to quickly gather sticks, and start a fire not having a bucket, or any real knowlage of where the nearest river was he decided it best not to go look for one and instead do his best to try and keep the girl warm. Using some small smooth rocks he would place them near the fire, and then when they were warm enough he would place them inside a peice of torn cloth from his shirt and lay them near her. His lavander eyes scanned her over looking for any signs of serious injury, but not wanting to touch her anymore than what he had without her permission he couldn't make an effective diganosis, all he could do was hope that the girls strength would help pull her though. One thing he noticed though, the girl had a head band like the village that he and his friends hand be transported too when that portal opened and sucked them inside it.
'Hopefully she's friendly,' he thought as he continued to watch over her, as he kept his sword close encase they were attacked.

Tenten wasn't aware of the innopropriet way that the man had fallen on her yet had she been able to tell what had happened she wouldn't have blamed him. He did appear to have the look of a clumsy oaf about him though Tenten couldn't see any of this until she became aware of the heat. Her brow twitched slightly before her eyes slowly opened. her head ache was still there and she could tell it wasn't planning on going away any time soon. Tenten tried to sit up quickly but the head rush that she recieved forced her back to her back. She drapped her arm over her eyes for a moment and squeezed them shut before she was on her feet a kunai in her hand at the ready as she stared down the man who had apparently helped her though she couldn't quite recall what had happened. The last thing she remembered was being in the tree.
Tenten looked up into the tree and sure enough her large scroll still sat in the tree. Tenten quickly retrieved it before she decended though not as steady as she would have liked. It was not like her to show that she was tired and weak yet the last few months where taking a toll on her. It was mission after mission. Job after job. She rarely stoped anymore. She tried her best to stay as busy as she could to keep her mind away from thoughts of Neji. Yet even when she was fully exhausted and falling over everything she still wished he was near. Tenten sighed softly before she lowered the kunai and placed it back into the pouch on her right thigh.
"Forgive me, you startled me." Tenten muttred. Her voice light and melodic. Not something you would expect from a ninja like herself. She was hard and worn. Though she hands where slightly calloused from years of holding weapons and fighting they where no less soft and delicate. And the years of training did nothing to take away from the beauty that this young ninja held. Tenten sat back down near the fire as she realized just how cold she had been. She felt so very weak that she couldn't quite put her finger on how she had let herself get this way. She was usually as healthy as a horse yet now she felt sicker than a dog. "I guess I owe you a thank you. Im Tenten."

Kenshin smiled as he saw that the girl was up, and started moving about, he noticed that she had a kunai drawn, but figured it was more for her defense then to attack him. So he sat and tended the fire while he waited for her to speak, after she finished he gave her a warm smile as he was cooking some meat that he'd brought with him on his journey.
"I'm glad to see you're able to get up and about Miss Ten-Ten, my name is Kenshin Himura, I'm a wanderer, and some how I've been brought to your world." he said his smile not faultering as he continued to cook the meat.
Once he was sure it was completely cooked through, he used a stick to scrape the meat off of the rock that he was using to cook it on and placed it onto a small plate. He then did the same with another peice,
'these back pack things are very handy,' he thought to himself as he set a plate down in front of her.
"You've got a small fever, you should try and eat that, that you should," he said giving her the same warm smile that a father might give his sick daughter.
He then reached over to his backpack and pulled out a small knife, after doing this he turned his attention back to the meat that he'd given her, and with what appeared to be one quick swipe of the knife. He cut the meat into smaller, bite size peaces, he did the same with his own.
"I've never had much use for these Knife things, but they sure do come in handy for cutting up pieces of meat like this don't they?" he asked trying to start a conversation with her.
While he ate he continued to add wood to the fire to keep it burning hot, mostly to keep the girl warm, as it wasn't really that cold, but when someone has a fever it's best to keep them as warm as possible, or so Miss Megumi told him.
" I must say the people from your world, have an assortment of wonders that never sease to amaze me, so much is different about this place, but yet for some reason it feels almost like home, and I can't quiet figure out why," he said as he stared up into the sky for a few moments.
He soon finished eated his meal and put his plate away, after which he got up and stretched, then looked down at the girl, with his usual warm smile.
"I'm going to go and get some more firewood, it's a chilly night, that it is and I wouldn't want you to get sicker, or Miss Megumi would have my head on a platter." he said sounding almost afraid on the part about Megumi.
