FULL PERSONALITY.
At first glance, Sanosuke, is a rather laid back guy. He is the type of person who doesn't let others worry him. He would rather sit about all day and do nothing, if it wasn't for his constant tendency to move around to much. He is the type that doesn't give up easily and will always do whatever it takes to reach his goals. Though, this is a fact, Sanosuke will never do anything that isn't honorable. He was taught to have honor no matter the situation. He is just that type of person and nothing will change that about him.
Though Sanosuke can be a laid back person, he is also a bit of a idiot. He will often do things that are stupid and will get himself in trouble. He will however, pick fights with people on purpose for training purposes. He is a fighter, however, and as soon as he enters a fight his demeanor will change instantly. He will become focused and a person he normally isn't when he is fighting. It is like a complete turn around for the young teen. FULL HISTORY. Sagara Sanosuke left home at an early age to join the Sekihō Army, leaving behind his father, his mother and his younger sister who adored him. He would return home years later to discover that his mother was dead, having died a couple of years after the birth of his younger brother, Ota, who immediately began to admire Sanosuke for his bravery and boldness. Sanosuke would also find out that his family name was now Higashidani, although he would never use it himself. His sister, after Sanosuke's disappearance and then her mother's death, became overprotective of her younger brother and father, who worked as a local merchant and farmer with the infamy of being a local fighter. Ota, after Sanosuke leaves his family again, would eventually follow his brother's advice and train at the Kamiya Kasshin-Ryū style dojo to become strong.
The Sekihoutai fought for the imperial alliance at the end of the Tokugawa regime and Sanosuke admired his captain, Sagara Sōzō and took the family name Sagara from him. The Sekihō Army were on assignment to spread word of the halving of taxes proclaimed by the revolution. However, when the revolutionary government encountered financial problems, they labeled the Sekihoutai as frauds to bury their promises. This setup was engineered by Shindō Tatewaki, a former officer in the imperial alliance. The Sekihoutai were designated scapegoats and to be executed; Sanosuke was the only survivor, other than his friend Tsukioka Katsuhiro.
Full of anger and bitterness, Sanosuke made a living as a fighter-for-hire who bore the nickname "Zanza" derived from his weapon, the zanbatō.

The brunette made his way slowly through the town. Yet another place he would do some damage in just to move on yet again. It was how the boy tended to work. Stayed for a little bit, long enough to mess a few things up, then woopdie doodle do, back to the drawing board all over again. It had always been like this since the incident all those years ago. the brunette hated thinking or even talking about it. It was probably the reason why so much hatred ran through his veins. The boy thought of it to much, and in the end the sadness and the feeling of betrayal only made things that much harder on him. It wasn't right for a boy his age to be doing that to himself.
As the boy walked around he could hear the small voices. People looking at him, his monstrous size, all that jazz. It never got old. It was the same thing every single time. It almost made Sanosuke smirk at the way people saw him as. It literally made him want to just shake his head make a poster and hang it wherever he went. "Yes, I am only 19, No, I am not on drugs, YES SAKE IS APPRECIATED" Sanosuke couldn't help but laugh at the thought of the sign. He would never do that but still, its funny how things work out. Especially in the world he had lived. Things, were never as they seemed anymore.
